Take into consideration gender, race, class, age, etc. While domestic violence victims can also be male, for the purposes of this discussion we will focus on the female victim and male batterer. Describe some of the barriers women encounter when they try to leave an abusive situation. Describe the various power plays that are used by batterers as shown on the Power and Control Wheel in the text. How can interventions be individualized for men of various personality types? What reforms are in order when it comes to how the criminal justice system addresses domestic violence? Be sure to include examples
