Why Early Childhood Education is important

You are expected to create a full-fledged annotated bibliography in either APA or MLA format. The finished product will consist of ten (10) citations and their accompanying annotations. That is, for each one (1) of the ten (10) sources that you select, you should create a citation entry along with a reflective/evaluative annotation about the article, book, web resource, etc. thats being profiled. Example annotated bibliographies will be posted on Moodle.
Each annotated bibliography should have an overarching topic. In other words, you might pick something like the migration patterns of caribou, the abiotic theory of oil formation, or poverty in the American Southeast. Your topic can originate from any subject area, but I recommend that you pick something related to your future profession, your academic interests, or a personal hobby.
You are encouraged to generate your own topic for this project, but you are welcome to solicit ideas from me (your instructor). Although I do not require you to submit your topic to me for approval purposes, I highly recommend it.
This project does not involve any essay-writing, nor is it a research paper. Ideally, a good annotated bibliography should function as a research guide for other individuals who are interested in the same topic. Other than the topic umbrella, your citations and accompanying annotations should not be directly connected to one another. Remember, an annotated bibliography is not an essay or research paper.
I do not have a set page length for this assignment, although I do anticipate that most of these bibliographies will be approximately 7-10 pages long (double-spaced), depending upon the topic choice. The final drafts of the annotated bibliographies should be double-spaced.
In your reflective/evaluative annotations, you’ll want to provide a personal assessment and/or evaluative of the source material, along with a compressed summary of the profiled document.
