In Part B of the Writing Assignment, students are to present an analysis of the Golden State Killers crimes. Students are to discuss ALL FOUR of the following issues:
What was the Golden State Killers modus operandi? What steps did he take in committing the crimes? What does the killers modus operandi tell you about his personality and/or motivation for committing the crimes?
What were the Golden State Killers motivations for the crimes? What made him do it? Discuss each of the following criminological theories:
Rational Choice Theory, and
Frustration-Aggression Theory (one of the Psychological Trait Theories)
How was the Golden State Killer able to live a seemingly normal life for decades while hiding his secret past?
Describe the characteristics of a Hedonistic Serial Killer. Was the Golden State Killer a Hedonistic Serial Killer? Why or why not?
Students are to review and analyze each of the issues using the documents as well as the documentary.

The analysis is to be written in a narrative format (i.e. NOT outline or bullet points).
