In Part B of the Writing Assignment, students are to present an analysis of the Golden State Killers crimes. Students are to discuss ALL FOUR of the following issues:
What was the Golden State Killers modus operandi? What steps did he take in committing the crimes? What does the killers modus operandi tell you about his personality and/or motivation for committing the crimes?
What were the Golden State Killers motivations for the crimes? What made him do it? Discuss each of the following criminological theories:
Rational Choice Theory, and
Frustration-Aggression Theory (one of the Psychological Trait Theories)
How was the Golden State Killer able to live a seemingly normal life for decades while hiding his secret past?

Students are to review and analyze each of the issues using the documents as well as the documentary.
