Using a clinical vignette, present a brief biopsychosocial-spiritual assessment; formulate a diagnosis/presentation of issues for treatment; develop a treatment plan that includes SMART goals and objectives; discuss the collaborative care, interdisciplinary, and/or inter-agency context of care/needs for the client; identify a specific brief intervention(s) from this class and discuss how you as a social worker would provide treatment with the client (i.e., how you would apply specific skills & techniques to address client symptoms/issues); discuss goodness-of-fit and cultural adaptations of the intervention as they relate to the client; consider potential legal/ethical issues and how to address them; and identify potential transference/countertransference issues as well as how to manage them in the therapeutic relationship.
