The ESSAY must be 2,000 words maximum (this is the upper word limit, so your essay should not be longer than 2000 words). The bibliography is not included in the word count. The essay represents 50% of the overall mark for the module. Essays are used to assess: knowledge and understanding of the subject; analytical ability; and written communication skills (spelling, punctuation, grammar, writing style, structure, presentation, word processing, referencing and bibliography). The essay must incorporate source material from a range of books, articles and (where relevant) internet sites.
