Does early introduction to sex have an effect on childrens sexual development?

A question worth asking is at what age should children’s sexual education begin in school? Increasingly school districts nationally are beginning at younger ages (e.g., kindergarten or 1st grade). At what ages are children cognitively and emotionally mature enough? Your paper could be a developmentally-informed discussion of the issue. That was feedback from my professor. Those topics/questions can be included. Length: The paper should be no shorter than 10 full pages of text, not counting the cover page, abstract page, or reference section. Font size should be 12. Text should be left justified only. Margins should be 1 inch all around. The paper must be based on at least 8 primary sources. An original source in an actual published scholarly work in a peer review journal, a chapter in a scholarly edited book, a book written by a credentialed academic, the proceedings of national or international conferences for which scholarly research that has been peer- reviewed, was disseminated, and so forth. Government websites (.gov) can also be considered primary and credible. Scholarly works DO NOT INCLUDE personal opinions (unless from an authoritative sources), magazine or newspaper articles, text books, etc. Information from such sources is typically second-hand, non-peer reviewed, frequently inaccurate, and occasionally blatantly false. Information found on the Internet is likely to be credible if it is found from a website connected to a college or university, or, as noted above, to a state or federal government agency.
