What theories and research have been most meaningful to me in meeting this competency and why?4. What artifacts may I have produced that helped me integrate scholarly readings into practice?5. What ideas about practice have challenged me as I have met this competency?6. What is my current thinking about “best practice” as it applies to my professional work related to this competency?7. How do I want to grow further in the future in relation to this competency?PIV: Social and Cultural Awareness: Communicate an understanding of social and cultural similarities and differences between populations and consider one’s own place in the larger society.1. Examine the historic and contemporary contributions of diverse socio-cultural and socio-economic populations on one’s professional practice.2. Explain how an understanding of diverse populations may be used to advance one’s own understanding of current and future practice within the broader field of one’s area of study and practice.3.
