Does the literature review successfully summarizes the current state of knowledge? Does it delineate a gap of knowledge?

Methodological analysis of research papers Participants will read TWO empirical research papers and analyse the methodology adopted. Discuss the research design, including data collection and analysis methods, as well as the way in which the methodology helps to answer the research questions. Guiding questions may include: Does the literature review successfully summarizes the current state of knowledge? Does it delineate a gap of knowledge? Is the research design appropriate? Would there have been better ways to do the research? How were the data collected and analysed? How the validity and reliability of measures, data and interpretations are ensured? Are all research questions answered? Do the author(s) address ethical considerations in an appropriate manner? How are the limitations of the research addressed?
