Essay prompt/question: Analyze the current plan of American immigration policy. How can it be improved? How does it affect the US today?Hi:) You can use the sources that you see fit to answer the above question in the essay. However, this is for a religion class so one or two of the sources have to be either written by a religious (catholic) figure or some kind of religious text. Apart from that, the paper’s tone does not have to be from a religious perspective when answering the question, this is completely related to the facts on the topic which is immigration in the USA. I would like the essay to mention some current cases of immigration in which the policies have helped and cases in which the policies have made it all worse ( maybe on of each and using these cases the back up the answer of the prompt). How this affects American people and immigrants as well because immigrants are a part of the US. The case where the policy works could be used to show how the policy does have its good things and the case where the policy backfires or doesn’t work could be used to ease into the topic of how it could be improved.
