link to video is https://www.pbs.org/video/frontline-class-divided/ A Class Divided is a PBS documentary of a third-grade teacher named Jane Elliott. Initially prompted by the assassination of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., Jane conducted an experiment, the “blue eyes/brown eyes” exercise, in 1968 to try and teach her third grade students a lesson about racism. While this documentary is a bit dated, the psychological underpinnings of this lesson in racism are just as relevant today as they were fifty years ago.
