Discussion Prompt: Be the Change!
As you’ve learned over the past couple of weeks, the ideal stress management program would include a built-in plan for a healthy lifestyle. Enacting conscious changes in the areas of social interaction, positive psychology, structured interventions, psychological hardiness, and healthy cognitive behavior will result in positive outcomes. Stress management is a decision. Once you fully understand the stressors in your life, both those that you can control and those that you can’t, you can successfully design a program that works specifically for you. You can then also use these tools and techniques to help others along on their own personal journey from stress to success.
For your posting, describe at least two specific examples of ways in which implementing healthy lifestyle changes positively influences stress management outcomes.
