Some examples for things that have been used in the past are any kind of school or community-based violence prevention program, bullying prevention programs in school, Homeless shelters for use – any kind of community program that helps with this, life skills training, even physical exercise. Just not looking for things like CBT, motivational interviewing, or individual therapies for the child/adolescent***
ASSIGNMENT:
Find a non-therapeutic intervention you could use with children and/or adolescent clients facing neglect, abuse, school or domestic violence, or homelessness. Discuss the significance of the selected issue, the effectiveness of the intervention, and implications for practice. Discuss the intervention in a double-spaced paper with at least three scholarly references, in APA format.
