The student should evidence basic competencies of the Christian Scriptures, a working knowledge of the most important genres of the Christian Scriptures, an awareness of alternative interpretations throughout the history of the church, and other ways of reading as evidenced by Christians from around the world.

Write a five-page paper in 1,800 (min) – 2,000 words (max) on a Christian worldview. The paper should seek to answer the question: What is a Christian worldview? The student should evidence basic competencies of the Christian Scriptures, a working knowledge of the most important genres of the Christian Scriptures, an awareness of alternative interpretations throughout the history of the church, and other ways of reading as evidenced by Christians from around the world. Answer what you think the definition of Christianity is from a historical, literary, and/or cultural view. The final paper shall be written in Chicago, MLA or APA. Make sure you have chosen (3) three essential themes and have developed them accordingly. Make sure you also include a strong comparison/contrast as an example. Three themes are listed below. o Faith o God is One (Divine / Natural Law) o Stewardship (Caring for the Oppressed) Must use a 5-paragraph essay format o Paragraph 1 Introduction o Paragraph 2 – Body Paragraph – Begins with a topic sentence that identifies one main idea that will be discussed as support or proof for the thesis statement o Paragraph 3 Body Paragraph – This paragraph, and any subsequent body paragraph, should begin with a topic sentence that signals the reader that a new idea or point is being introduced. o Paragraph 3 Body Paragraph – This paragraph begins with the final topic sentence that relates back to the remaining point mentioned in the thesis statement. o Paragraph 5 Conclusion – The conclusion revisits your overall purpose for writing and often invites your reader to consider the implications of why your ideas are significant. 3 sources are required with a Works Cited page. I have included one source below (required) and I will figure out the other two sources. o An academic, scholarly study Bible. Recommends the Oxford Annotated Study Bible (4th and 5th editions).
