Students will complete 1 Research Essay that reflect/meet the following guidelines: 1. This essay must be at least 5 FULL pages but no more than 7 pages in length. 2. The memo must be written in the one of the following formal formats (APA, MLA) with a title page, 12pt font, and a separate reference page. 3. The paper needs to include at least 5 formal, properly cited, references. 4. The essay can be a response to any social problem discussed in the text, presented by me in class, something that you came across in current events, or something relevant of your choosing. 5. Paper must include a social theory analysis. This paper can be written about any issue that can be connected to sociology and the things we have covered in class. It can be an analysis of a current or historical event, or a theoretical framework and abstract analysis.
