Using the template provided, create an outline for your persuasive essay. Make sure your outline includes a 3-point thesis and is based on a 5-6-paragraph essay. We want to try to avoid ancient sources. Example of Outline for an Argumentative (Persuasive) Essay This outline format demonstrates the use of the 6-paragraph essay format. Some writers like to include the counter-claims in the same three body paragraphs that include the claims rather than include the counter-claims in their own paragraph just before the conclusion. Here is an example of how a 6-paragraph essay could be structured. Notice the main ideas that are covered in each paragraph. NOTE: you do NOT have to follow the 6-paragraph format.
