You must write a 6-8-page composition (double-spaced, Times New Roman 12 pt., MLA-style). You will write an academic essay, which involves the investigation of the topic in depth. The personal opinion is not so important as the analysis. The thesis has to clearly be exhibited in the introductory paragraph and every following paragraph must present a new aspect related to the thesis. It must conclude with a synthesis of the arguments and a repetition of the thesis of a different way. Because you will consult several sources in your research, it is worth remembering to cite all the information taken from these sources within text and also include a page of “cited works” at the end of the composition. It should include a minimum of five academic sources, not all of electronic sites. The essay must also include at least five different transitional words and/or phrases at the beginning of a sentence.
