Select one barrier from the list below and describe two ways that healthcare informatics professionals can play a key role in overcoming the barrier.

This week you learned a little bit about some of the barriers to using evidence-based practice (EBP) in healthcare. Select one barrier from the list below and describe two ways that healthcare informatics professionals can play a key role in overcoming the barrier. Think about what youve learned so far in this course – what are the informatics tools that can make it easier for healthcare providers and clinicians to locate, evaluate, and use evidence to improve care? Locate, include and properly cite one resource that supports your description of ways to overcome the barrier that you selected. Barriers to EBP: Lack of knowledge needed to interpret statistical analysis A feeling of being overwhelmed by the volume of evidence Lack of time to fully evaluate the evidence Unsure where to look for evidence Evidence-based resources that are in conflict with current practice The list here includes just a few from Barriers to Nursing: https://www.nurseone.ca/en/tools/evidence-based-practice/barriers-to-nursing (you can check the website for the entire list).
