The book report will be on The Reconciliation Manifesto: Recovering the Land, Rebuilding the Economy by Arthur Manual. We will be addressing it in class, and I will have a power point of the issues it covers. Your book report should address those issues, but also what arguments the book makes, and what you learned from it about Indigenous issues in Canada. Size: 8-12 pages, double-spaced.You have to choose two parts from the eight parts of the Book (ie: Part 1: Getting to Know; Part 8: Re-envisioning Canada), and do your book report about these two parts (minimum 5 pages)Then, find a recent news article that connects to something from these two parts.
