Be detailed and specific in your responses. If you are undecided about your major and career aspirations, please choose one major and career goal out of the few you are currently considering for the purposes of this assignment. This career development exercise should be revisited during your time at college.First, discuss your career aspirations. What are the results of your Focus2 assessment? (see begin of instructions) How does this result inform you about your career aspirations/ goals? Then, construct a plan from today through graduation that supports your career Consider both your courses as well as your extra-curricular activities. What courses will you need to take and when will you take them? What extra-curricular activities/ internships would be beneficial? Organize your plan in terms of years/ semesters/ summer breaks in a table and insert the table into your word document.Second, write a cover letter and resume that is appropriate for a position you have found online. Your objective is to prepare a packet sufficiently convincing to receive an interview. Begin by locating an online advertisement for a job that you aspire to have. It should be a position that is a stretch for your background and experience, but a role for which you could reasonably be considered a candidate. Choose any position you want – whether it is a full-time, part-time, temporary job, or internship – as long as it reflects opportunity for personal growth and career development. It should take advantage of your skills and education. The job should be related to your career aspirations. You can use Handshake, or another online portal to locate the job. Include a copy of the job description (the job description does not count towards your page total).
