– Essay must be between 1,800 to 2,000 words- Writer MUST have read the novel “Northanger Abbey” by Jane Austen before, and possess vast knowledge of its characters.- The character that the writer should focus on is Catherine Morland.- The title/subject matter of the essay should be: “Catherine Morland and her evolution throughout Northanger Abbey”.- Furthermore, writer should have a clear thesis upon which they will build their analysis throughout the paper. This thesis should be mentioned once in the introductory paragraph and mentioned again in the conclusion.- Author must use direct quotes from the novel in order to validate/explain the points they are trying to argue.
