Conduct online research of the Jaycee Lee Dugard child abduction case. Dugard, who was 11 time of the incident, was kidnapped near her home in South Lake Tahoe. Dugard was kidnapped by a known registered sex offender while waiting at a bus stop near her house. Dugard was held captive for eighteen (18) years and had two (2) children with the suspect. There were many mistakes on the part of law enforcement investigators, California Parole System, California Department of Corrections and the community during the case.
