This assignment includes a participatory activity in the community. For this assignment, students will interview a spiritual leader. (lets do buddhism so a fake interview with a Monk) This interview must be conducted with a spiritual professional who is of a different spiritual belief system than the student and include observations, if available and appropriate, in a spiritual service or gathering of the interviewee. (im a Christian). Explain to your contact the purpose of your visit and obtain permission from an appropriate individual (if necessary) in advance. Respect their beliefs as you educate yourself about their journey. This assignment will help students explore different spiritual perspectives and enhance a more broad range of spiritual practices which can enhance a perspective of living in a culturally diverse world. I will upload the questions you need to “ask the spiritual leader”. In the first paragraph introduce the leader and explain his beliefs and after that answers the questions (I will upload the questions in pdf) in paragraph form. Feel free to use some, all, or any combination of these questions. So, use each question you answer as a header!
