Students will research/find a “current” legal issue taking place either in the Sport or Recreation industry. Submit a 2-3 page paper regarding this issue. Papers must be typed using Times New Roman, 12 font, and double spaced.
Students MUST include the following sections:
1. Background of the issue, what is happening.
2. Who and or what is the issue impacting.
3. Why you think it is important to address the issue.
4. How would you, as a manager, handle the situation/issue and why you think that your management style would be appropriate using it in this particular situation.
5. Address the overall legal ramifications and possible outcomes.
You may use newspapers, web sites, etc to find an issue. Students must also provide a reference page.
