The exam should be typed using MLA or APA format.
The exam should be five paragraphs consisting of an introduction [7-8 sentences], three body paragraphs [8 sentences each], and a conclusion [5-6 sentences]. Do not write more than five paragraphs.
The introductory paragraph should be well-developed with a thesis statement that presents an solidified argument about the different works you have chosen, three advanced organizers [aka sentences of support for your thesis], and three introductory sentences that state background information about the time periods.
Use specific examples from the literary works to support your thesis statement and advanced organizers. Cite the literary work when using examples. Two examples from each literary work should be included.
Answer the prompt by discussing one literary piece from each unit.
