The goal is to explain what heath informatics is and then explain how it’s transformed health care, i.e. cost efficiency, shared knowledge and increased care coordination of patients, patient accessibility, valid and accurate information, and use of Electronic medical records (EMR) that is providing quality of care. These are all points that I would like included in the paper. I’m not looking for IT verbiage and a paper riddled IT language. This is primarily about health care and how health informatics has improved the quality of care to patients. 1 of the 5 references should include Health Care Information Systems textbook if possible.
