Health Policy Analysis Report

A final term paper is required for this course. You will select a health policy and write a policy analysis report about it. You will prepare and present a Power point (or Prezi), and post your presentation on Blackboard. You will also be required to develop three questions for your classmates based upon your presentation. These questions should be thought provoking and allow for interesting discussion. 20% of your grade will be earned for this project.

The assignment: The Centers for Disease and Control and Prevention (CDC) provides the status of public health policies and practices that address ten common public health problems that affect all states (Website: https://www.cdc.gov/psr/). Those problems include the following: Alcohol Related Harms, Food Safety, Healthcare-Associated Infections, Heart Disease and Stroke, HIV, Motor Vehicle Injuries, Nutrition-Physical Activity-Obesity, Prescription Drug Overdose, Teen Pregnancy, and Tobacco Use.
