Written response (150-250 words): As a certified speech-language pathologist practicing in a busy private clinic, you have a relatively large caseload. Among the other therapists working in the facility, there is a CF (clinical fellow) who recently graduated with her master’s degree. While the CF is an excellent therapist, your boss, who is not an SLP, has decided that you should sign off on about half of her documentation so that the agency can bill for the services at a higher rate. Even though you feel uncomfortable with this arrangement, since you didn’t provide the treatment, it was a direct order from your boss. In this hypothetical situation is there an ethical dilemma? If so what is it and what Principle(s) and Rule(s) of the ASHA Code of Ethics would you be in violation of? Be very specific. Since you will be paraphrasing and/or quoting from the ASHA COE, be prepared to provide in-text citations and references on this assignment.
