In class, we discussed genetic engineering, a type of biotechnology that allows us to take a gene from one organism and put it into a completely different organism. Another type of biotechnology that is somewhat controversial is cloning. One example of this type of technology is the production of Dolly the sheep back in 1997. While Dolly was considered a success, there are still a lot of technical problems with cloning actually working and some controversy as well. Heres your question Do you believe that the cloning of Dolly the sheep over two decades ago might eventually lead to the cloning of humans in the future?
