you will write a post to the discussion board (500-600 words) included in this module about this weeks two readings of Cramer, Post, and delMas (2002, pages 112-115 and 136-140) and Empson (2010, pages 307-311 and 330-332). In your own words, summarize the points of view expressed in the Cramer article versus those in the Empson article. How do these points of view differ, and potentially conflict, with one another? Describe any experiences you have had in the classroom with either viewpoint or both viewpoints. Which point of view is more in line with your experiences and/or beliefs about how children best learn to understand fractions? Do you believe there is a way to accommodate both viewpoints? If so, how do you think this would work?
