Module 4: Milestone Assignment –I’m attaching the previous docs that will need to be added/adjusted. To perform better planning and control, you, as the President of your construction contractor company, have asked your project management team to develop a detailed cost estimate for the project at hand. For this assignment, provide a detailed cost estimate that meets the following requirements: Deliverable 1: Use a reliable cost-estimating tool, such as RS Means, to estimate the project cost based on the assumption that your company self-performs the work. Provide quantities and unit cost details for labor, material, and equipment. Include at least 60-line items in your detailed estimate, encompassing line items for contingency and management reserves. Incorporate all relevant CSI divisions (the divisions to include are in attachment A) including general conditions to accurately estimate project costs. Deliverable 2. Cost-load the schedule (ATTACHMENT B) you developed in the previous assignment, as per the detailed project cost estimate, and provide a .pdf version of the project budget by showing the estimated cost of project activities in a list in which project activities are grouped using the structures of deliverable- and process-oriented WBS. No project activity should remain without budgeted cost loaded to the schedule, and the sum of budgeted values assigned to the activities should match the project budget. Deliverable 3: Produce cash and cost-flow histograms with cumulative curves in Microsoft Excel, using appropriate axis titles and legends.
