I was doing my placement as a student nurse in a district hospital in my first year. One of the nurses told me to disconnect one of the patient cannula, which I excepted to do, later on she came back stating I am too slow in removing the cannula. She push me off and disconnected the patient cannula. I wasn’t happy about the situation so i went to my supervisor, I told her about the situation, she then told the manager in charge and they spoke to the nurse, which later came to me and apologise and the matter was resolved.
