It involves a formal argument where you establish your point of view with three reasons collected from research. It also involves providing two counter-arguments. Please click on links to see how to use the Rogerian principle to synthesize the two sides of any argument. Including counterarguments makes your argument strong and the reader is persuaded that you have looked at the issue from both sides. Review Logical Fallacies in your text to understand how you should avoid spurious arguments.
