Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to read a nonfiction book, although some fiction may work for this assignment (but must be approved) and just as a criminologist would, apply theories and concepts and typologies learned in this course to the behavior described in your book. Think of yourself as a criminal profiler who has been asked to present a memo to your boss supplying explanations for the criminal and deviant behavior of alleged perpetrators.

4. Now begin with analysis, using theories and concepts. It makes most sense to
start chronologically, with theories that address childhood. Start with a definition of the theory or concept and then apply it behavior.
5. There are so many theories that may overlap as explanations, just choose the one you prefer.
6. You may reference the DSM, the Diagnostic Statistic Manual of Mental Illnessused by
