Compose a letter to the editor that conveys your concerns and proposed solution to the broader community. Identify a specific local public policy issue that you believe needs to be addressed in the state of Texas or your community (Brownsville). Analyze how different people in the state/community may be affected by a specific issue. Identify the government officials or community organization responsible for that policy issue. Research the issue (In JSTOR Database) and find a constitutional solution to the problem. Provide a recommendation/memo that can be used to help implement your policy solution. In all instances support your position with knowledge from what we have learned throughout the semester and support it with evidence.
