The case should be fairly recent(within the last 20 years, the recent the better) and from the English law. – research the case in depth – the common law case chosen has to be explained in your own words 1) Detailed introduction of the topic in terms of concept covered during the course including corporate governance codes and their importance and company directors’ duties in the UK. 2) The facts of the case in sufficient detail 3) The ruling/judgment by the court, penalties awarded 4)The statutes relevant to the topic to be briefly outlined in terms of only their most important or main aspects pertaining to the topic. 5)Your critical analysis of the case with reasoned explanations and arguments, support the same with relevant examples/evidence from case law. 6)A summing up and proper conclusion.
