Your introduction can go into some semiconductor theory. It gets pretty complicated so try not to get bogged down too much in the details. I would maybe include a section on other uses for semiconductors. The focus is solar panels/solar cells it looks like, but it would be worth including how commonly semiconductors are used in our current society, and how their development has really rocketed us forward exponentially in terms of technology. This could be a lot of intro material. Your intro can be just as long as the body if you like, theres not going to be any firm divide between the two sections. Just make sure you have enough to talk about here.
