A research paper based on one of the topics covered in the learning units or other topic of interest related to the content of the course. This paper will identify a specific question to be addressed and analyze key concepts and ideas of the subject and demonstrate your ability to analyze the various positions of available literature, thereby creating a balanced manuscript, as well as the ability to analyze the appropriateness of selected literature. This project will include a title page, abstract, introduction, literature review, conclusion and reference pages. It must be written in APA style and should be approximately 7 to 9 pages in length excluding ancillary pages. Plan to utilize approximately 8 to 10 scholarly references depending on their quality to complete your paper. Wikipedia is not generally recognized as a scholarly source and therefore should be avoided. Additionally, general print encyclopedias (e.g., World Book; Encyclopedia Britannica) are considered unacceptable in a university environment. The paper must conform to current APA guidelines.
