Report format (see example on page 17): (1) INTRODUCTION: Write down a one paragraph background to the project (including aim/s) indicating where the aim/s come from and why it is important to study. (2) METHOD: The method your group has adopted to address the aim/s (1 paragraph), which should also indicate how this method addresses the aim/s. (3) RESULTS: A summary of the class data and the results of the analysis – all in prose style – i.e. not just a meaningless jumble of numbers or tables (1 paragraph). The results section should make it clear what you have found relative to the aim/s. (4) DISCUSSION: A one paragraph conclusion linking the aims to the results and drawing an appropriate inference that relates back to the Introductory paragraph. (5) The single reference (from the tutorial) and a word count (not including the reference) need to be included at the end. Each report SHOULD NOT EXCEED 500 WORDS (i.e. 1 page of single spaced A4, 12pt TIMES NEW ROMAN font).
