The project was to choose 2 people from each era and …… 1.contextualize their leadership and theories by providing a brief summary of their background and the world around them, 2.define/ describe their argument for and method of Black cultural resistance, 3.note if and how their strategies build upon/ reference other leaders from previous eras, 4.evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the form(s) of resistance they posit, and describe the leaders immediate and extended impact. 5.Finally explain whether you thought their method/ arguments were successful and why (note you may position them on a spectrum of success, from completely successful to mostly successful to somewhat successful to utterly unsuccessful).
