The Symbolism of the Handkerchief to the Characters of Othello

Included will be the syllabus of what is to be expected and below are work cited sources that need to be used in the text. The JSTOR sources provide information on the symbolism of the handkerchief of each of the characters. I am going to use Othello, Desdemona and Iago as my subjects for this topic. I already have a document written of the beginning of my paper and I would like for you to leave my beginning and thesis the way it is since it flows well. There needs to be quotes from the play from an anthology that support the symbolism of the handkerchief. Each character views the handkerchief different, Iago views it for manipulation, Othello views it as a symbol of love and fidelity, but turns into a symbol of adultery and jealousy and Desdemona symbolizes it as love for her husband and treasure the gift with her heart. I have already included the three sources from JSTOR and all I need is the source for the anthology for Othello. The essay needs to an interpretive and analytic. This shouldn’t be a retelling of the story but rather only talking about the aspects of the handkerchief and how it affected each of the characters. I would like to have this done before Wednesday when it is due. Use the sources I have given, to bolster your claims because it has to be from JSTOR.
