Background: A systematic literature review on receptive music and stimulus music using databases like Psych info, Medline, Psych articles, Web of Science, ect. Clarify the differences between typical age related cognitive decline and cognitive deficits associated with dementia. Body: Clarify the purpose and articulate the benefits of doing a cross-cultural research (at least 500 words). Describe why music therapy is becoming famous amongst the aging population. Explain why socio-economic status is an important term. Discussion: Explain lack of research in this area and what future studies should include. Discuss how music therapy interventions in other cultures work and how there is a scope for research in the field of aging.
