You go to different places, which are all part of the same trip, but the places are distinct from each other. Each section of your report is a distinct place your report takes the reader to, so it deserves specific identification as such. Therefore, give each section a heading to provide a quick signal to the reader on what part of the trip they are entering. Start each section with a short paragraph on what you will cover in the section, and then address each broad question in that section in a separate paragraph. At the end of the section, provide another brief paragraph summarizing your analysis for that section. Numbers as Evidence: Economics is a quantitative field, particularly as related to this course. In analyzing reports, tables, and regression results, you need to incorporate data as evidence to support your analysis. General statements without specific data to back them up do not constitute adequate analysis, but including too much data without analysis is not acceptable either. Select data as evidence that provides the most convincing case for your analysis, while also acknowledging conflicting evidence. Where your analysis requires reporting extensive amounts of data, they should be organized into a summary table or chart. An included table or chart does NOT speak for itself. You must discuss data from tables and charts in your text or they will not be counted toward completion of the assignment.
