Use either one of these links to find the 5 sources and make sure these need to be peer-reviewed, academic books or journal articles. ALSO THE SOURCE CITATION DOES NOT COUNT FOR THE WORD COUNT! https://web.a.ebscohost.com/ehost/search/basic?vid=0&sid=2ccf449c-ca27-4811-be3c-9c7fc9f76c15%40sdc-v-sessmgr03 https://www.jstor.org/ https://search.proquest.com/advanced?accountid=37748&language=en You must locate 5 scholarly sources for your research proposal. These need to be peer-reviewed, academic books or journal articles. DO NOT USE WEB SITES (this does not include library databases!). Your annotated bibliography forms the beginning of the literature review which will be organized around themes that are evident in the literature. You want all of your sources to be robust. In short, one or two sources should not dominate the literature review. This will involve reviewing far more sources than you use. The annotated bibliography has no bearing on what you do in the literature review for the proposal. I do not assess the adequacy of the information contained in any source. In short, I do not review sources, you do! As such, you can earn full points on the annotated bibliography but have a less than robust proposal because the information contained in the sources was insufficient or overly dependent on one or two sources. AVOID SOURCES THAT MERELY MENTION A TOPIC–YOU WANT SOURCES THAT DIVE INTO YOUR TOPIC! Instructions for annotations:Your annotations need to be in your own words. No quotes are allowed. Do not simply look at the abstract. That can lead to a not great source that sounded great. Annotations will be checked in Vericite so take care with your writing. No citations are required within the text of the annotation, you provide that with your source citation at the top. 1. Full citation for the source (use APA format) 2. Evidence the source is peer-reviewed (beyond checking a box in a database) 3. Explain in a few sentences how this source contains adequate information to contribute to your literature review. 4. Explain in 5 sentences how this source will be applied to your literature review. Grading: there are up to 5 pts for each source. If a source in not peer-reviewed, no points will be given for the source (you will be expected to locate the sources required for the proposal when that is submitted).you need to complete every section for each annotation. A lack of relevant information for 3 and 4 can result in a pt deduction for the source score.
