This course requires weekly tours through the City. Each walk has a theme and multiple layers within the material.
It is now your turn to create a tour. Think about a neighborhood you would like to visit and study. Walk the area. Think of a theme. Use the AIA GUIDE in the Reference Room at Bobst for background information.
The walk should include 3-4 buildings. Your discussion of these buildings should not be just a description or summary of what you find in the AIA; it should also aim to situate each building within the theme of your walk and the social, historical, and artistic context of this class. Present your walk with illustrations in some five pages
