The world religions weve looked at fall roughly into two big families those that originated in Asia (Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, Confucianism, and Daoism) and those that originated in the Near East (Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam). Using at least one tradition from each of these families, write an essay on this topic: “All the worlds religions are fundamentally the same.” Do you agree or disagree? Be sure to clarify how you mean “the same.” Do they have the same goals, structure, or message? Use specific examples as evidence for whatever position you take.
