In 1,250 words or less, describe a practice situation of some complexity in terms of biological (physical health), interpersonal, sociological, ethical, and/or other dimensions of human experience. The setting or type of practice is up to you (hospital, clinic, community, education, or administration). The scenario does not need to be literally factual. You may create a plausible exemplar clinical situation to use for this assignment. The crux of the assignment is the application of concepts and principles.
The challenges within the situation you describe must include aspects of interprofessional collaborative practice; the challenges must also include some aspects of the patients personal or family characteristics that must be taken into consideration, such as race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, disability, mental illness, body shaming, or other characteristic (any two [2] or more). Challenges in the situation may be patient-centered or team-centered, practice, administration, or education-related.
Apply concepts and principles from at least two (2) of the assigned readings to analyze and work to resolve the situation, using appropriate citations. Additional readings will be required to achieve full grade points. Refer to the Nursing Masters Library Guide (Links to an external site.) for additional assistance.
