Managing Public Organizations

Compare and contrast the key tenants of the New Public Service with Older Public Administration and New Public Management (in terms of core principles, structure, organizational behavior, culture, environment, people & power dynamics), and make a case for a hybrid framework that brings the strengths of New Public Service, New Public Management and Older Public Administration together would be the best pathway forward for public service organizations. [NOTE: if you choose the third one, you must be specific about the key strengths of 2 or more of these theoretical frameworks that should be part of a hybrid approach to public administration in the future]. While making your case for one of these three positions, please reference at least 1-2 case examples from the Hill & Lynn and/or Denhardt readings to back-up your position.
