Write an abstract based on my final post lab, my hypothesis was that cyclohexane would react faster with NBS instead of trans-stilbene, but based on my RFs, i couldn’t tell whether is faster or not, maybe determine by the color on the TLC plate? The lab protocol with trans-stilbene is also uploaded. my final lab is same as the protocol BUT WITH CYCLOHEXANE INSTEAD OF TRANS-STILBENE. Example of abstracts and my post lab is uploaded as addition material. 1) Title and author information as a descriptive and clear heading. 2) 5-10 sentences that concisely explain what you tested, what results you had, and the implications of those results (what might be the next step?) 3) A graphic (reaction scheme is the most common and most straightforward graphic, but you could be creative using the software to show mechanism or a piece of data like a TLC plate, etc.). It must be produced using ChemDraw. There are many useful Chemdraw resources in this site (see files): 4) A list of a few “key words” – these scientific and descriptive words are used in primary literature to help direct interested researchers toward your results. They are the words you think are most important to people who would benefit from learning your results. For instance, an “anti-Markovnikov addition” would be very important for a synthetic chemist looking for regioselective reactions. Highlights: Why is this important? What did you do? Results/Conclusion? Future directions?
