Interview an individual working in the field of criminal justice.Summarize the interview in a paper in narrative form. (Do not just write up the answer to the questions and hand them in.) The paper should include a brief description about the agency, its location and client population. The majority of the paper should focus on the interviewee and his or her responses. The goal of this paper is describe how and why an individual enters the field of criminal justice , what working in the criminal justice field means to the worker, and why an individual remains in the field despite the many obstacles (regulatory and economic) encountered.Encourage your interviewees to share their experiences or especially colorful “war stories” that might give you insight into the nature of the job. Find out the most challenging and rewarding aspects of their job. Ask what qualifications are needed and what advice they have for a student in the field. More times than not, you will find that if you can get your interviewee talking they will be happy to share their experiences and expertise.
