To answer this question I would like to discuss how me being born in Georgia and raised in North Carolina contributes to my sole experience of living in the south and how this adds to the diversity of the University of California. Within the answer I believe it is important to emphasize the cultural differences from being a southern native to possibly relocating to California for university. This adds a piece of diversity to the campus, making me stand out, as the current majority of students are most likely California natives. It is also significant to include what I can learn about the culture of California, being submersed in it for the first time.
